Transplanting Pocket Clip To Leatherman MT's
on: October 13, 2008, 02:31:55 PM
After using my E306x LM clip I set to work using my K502x's clip.To use the K502x's clip I firstly had to increase the clips hole slightly with a 4mm drill bit so that it could take the knurled fastener. The main motivation I had for making my own Leatherman knurled fastener tools was so that I could Pimp my Pulse. So I jumped at the chance to put a pocket clip on one of my favorite LM's the Pulse .

Pulse next to Sideclip.

And just for some fun the knife clip on a PST

It would be cool if LM sold these clips separately  , but then they already sell the Kick pocket clip.

Looks good!!!!!!!! I never thought of using a different clip from another model. I have just finished my 4th PST with a kick side clip and screw and so far all is good.

Good work there Mat!  :tu:

Wow there is certainly a lot of interest in pocket clipped multitools. It seems like more manufacturers would offer them so equipped. Off the top of my head is there just Leatherman and CRKT?
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Put a pocket clip on a mini, then I'll care.
