 :dunno:.  The MC is a wonderful SAK.  Yes there are tools that make this 58mm a chubby little SAK but one thing I miss from the MC is the pen on my PTC.  I also really like the picker/cutter tool.

I'm definitely finding the MC very useful but I really do use the awl and jewelers sd on the PTC and would miss them.
Your right about that cut and picker blade. If I could I would add a cut and picker and the safety blade to the PTC. That would be the perfect SAK. The pen I could take or leave.

Both great SAKs.  I am carrying my MC now.  I love to have my PTC when I got out oddly as I really like the pen.  The size is what does it for me.  I am loving Wenger scissors more and more too.

I replaced the scales on mine with a pair from a Classic, to have both tweezers and toothpick. So I lost the pen.

Just arrived today - my first Minichamp. A bit beaten up, but nothing some tlc couldn’t cure. Now all I have to do is wait for my new shiny scales...

Yeah, its fun to mix it up.  I'll stick with the MiniChamp for a while, then carry a Manager, then a Classic SD and so on.  But always in conjunction with an Explorer or similar.
