Interesting, but scissors in such position are definetely useless (IMHO)

That's an excellent point. The more I think about it, it's silly, better in theory I guess... just not something I'd considered

But while the combo Phillips tool on the backside will be clumsy, it might be useful.
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Just checked. The 58mm combo tool in my Rambler appears to be a tad thinner than a hook and about the same length.
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

I think it's a great idea, but the scissors need to be better fitted in there. It doesn't fit very well IMO. Also i would keep the awl there instead of the Rambler combo tool  :salute:

That's quite an exciting mod, actually! The 58mm philips/caplifter combo tool is, IMHO of course, the single greatest SAK tool and I'd love one on a 84/91. However...

... while it indeed beats nothing, it does seem wasted there.

There must be a way to mod it into a main layer...!

I'm so knackered with the bladeless mod I'm trying to do right now, that I don't feel like doing the above mod anytime soon, even for SCIENCE.  :-\
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)
