No worries, we talk about all streaming services, cable channels, network.... In hindsight, I should have put more thought into the thread name

I might have suggested the thread should get renamed to "TV Binge Thread", but Netflix ( & co) have made TV irrelevant  :like:

Can't watch The Mandalorian because it's on Disney+, can't watch MacGyver because it's on CBS's... thing, am only able to watch The Expanse because of a relative sharing their Amazon prime account...
Seems a lot like cable. :D
Back to pirating!
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Up to episode 2 of The Outsider, not a huge Stephen King fan but it's very interesting so far..... :salute:

Episode 3 did a full 180° went from cop murder mystery into sci-fi/horror, getting very interesting  :tu:.

Also watching S1 of "Peaky Blinders", takes awhile to get used to the time period, but hooks you in after a couple of episodes

And there you touch on the root of my problem today
3 hours' sleep, watched the 2nd half of episode 2, then just HAD to watch 3, cup of coffee, and when I finally made myself go to bed the mozzies started in on me :poh:

Can't wait for the next episode  :gimme: ........very scared it has a typical King ending

Project Blue Book is back.......

Now the question is, since I realized I never watched the whole of season 1, do I bother

Mixed feelings
At the end of the episode there's a "coming this season" which looks exciting, but the episode itself was a bit boring

Also, with all due respect to a great actor,  Patrick Stewart looks too old for this, if he's doing anything except sitting and talking, it's almost distracting.

The October Faction - Interesting so far.......they might need 15 seasons to give you the whole story

Messed up my binge because I mostly couldn't sleep last night, mostly.......so I don't know exactly what I missed

Been bingeing on “60 days in”. Those people are cray cray for volunteering to go to Jail for 60 days. Doesn’t seem scripted to me.... Also we just finished “The Last Alaskans”. Really enjoyed that one for sure!

Just finished the new season of Peaky Blinders, very good but I wish it was more than six episodes.

Almost finished it, thanks for recommendation, never seen so many cigarettes smoked in my life tho  and pretty glad I was born about 100 years after this takes place  ::) .
I'd give the series an 8.5/10 but you sometimes need to switch the subtitles on to understand whats being said

October Faction -  7/10

The first season was entertaining,  but the setup for the second season was kinda obvious
I know this is expected in a series, but I found it slightly irritating.

There is a part of the story line that seems utterly contrived to display the writer's woke-status, I know sexuality and gender are favourite topics, and I have no problem with one of the lead characters being gay, or even the kiss....

What set my BS-meter ringing is the fact is seems more important that he's gay than the fact the he's a warlock!

If you're going to be a gay warlock, cool, but be a gay warlock, not a gay warlock!

I take back what I said, he's playing Picard as an old man....perfectly  :salute:

"The Irishman" 8/10

Pretty good, lots of similarites to Goodfellas I thought, with soundtrack from the era and character set ups and voice overs. Was a little long, they probably could have cut a 1/2 hour out of it or made into a mini series, but overall a good mobster pic. Also check out the short doc after the movie Scorsese, Deniro, Pecci & Pacino talk about the CGI used to make them look younger which is pretty amazing.

I was able to view it in one sitting with a few bathroom and coffee breaks, needed something to kill the time until an early doctor appointment for my ruined knee which might have a torn ligament, so painful, hoping for the best but I think I'm pretty boned  :(

orthopedist took some xrays, but thinks it might be gout which I had in my foot a couple of times, didnt know it could be in the knee also, anyway he shoved a needle into my knee and drained it,  wow that was some horrible painful procedure  and then shot my knee up with liquid ibuprofen and now I have to wait on blood and drained fluid to be tested by lab. Been a rough couple of weeks but may not be torn up ligaments which is a relief. When I had gout in the past its excruciating, pain makes you wish for death  ::)

The first episode of Picard is free to stream now, I used Amazon firestick, but guess it would work on smart tv's or roku too. I liked it but have no way of seeing the next episode

I'm watching Picard on Prime. The tease is the trickle rate of an EP a week...
