I am a big fan of the Ranger. It is about the largest SAK I can pocket carry, yet packs a tremendous amount of versatility.

I find the other 2 models too large for my tastes, though they would be ok to throw in a bag, etc. Actually, I sometimes even find the Ranger too large for pocket carry.

A model I would really like to get my hands on is the Master Craftsman. It is basically a Ranger with a phillips instead of a corkscrew. It is also the base model used for the famous Shuttle edition.

I'm too lazy to look up those models -

For me though, I get antsy with more than two layers.
I'm a slimline, gofast kinda guy, Give me a Solider or Compact (still looking) any day, you can keep your bloody handymans and Champions (I think I owned one of them briefly?)

We do not ask for your Pliers, or your File.
We do not want your Magnifying Glass and Hook disgorger.
It is your Combo-Tools we claim.
It is your Alox that will be sought by us.
With every breath we shall hunt them down.

I ever now and then will carry a Champion (a Swiss Champ minus the pliers) on one of these Belt-hanger "Multiclip".  http://www.victorinox.com/index.cfm?site=victorinox.ch&page=16&lang=E

It rides about mid way in the pocket so you don't have the clump at the bottom.    Very nice clip.  :D

I'm a big fan of the Ranger too--it is an awesome tool for the size.  It's only 1 layer wider than the venerable Huntsman, yet has 4 more tools (file, metal saw, chisel, small screwdriver).

I don't own a Swisschamp because, IMO, the Cybertool 41 packs more utility in about the same size.

I'd go for the Champ, it is big and fairly bulky, but you'll never be short of tool to get the job done :)

Plus over here in the UK it's about as sheeple friendly as you can get :)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

Out of the options a Champ because the others don't have a magnifier and I find one very useful.

If you are refering to the Wenger Handyman, +1 on it. File sown the tip on the nail file and it makes an excellent light duty replacement for a Phillips. My son just got mine, he had done something on his own for a change and I wanted to reward him. It like my new Huntsman is a great carry alone SAK.

If I am wandering around here and there in casual attire I like to carry my SwissChamp in the SOS Pouch. Plenty of tools to resaolve many small/meduim problems and the SOS Pouch fits in well on my belt, passes of quite easily in a Sheeple Rich enviroment as a cellphone pouch.
