Looking good, Charlie!

I very seldom wear a watch anymore (would have to remove at work, so just got out of the habit).  I do like classically styled diving watches though.  They are waterproof for all practical purposes, take a serious beating with nothing more than a few scratches to show for it, and they look good with any attire from swim trunks to a tuxedo.

My phone doesn't let me post pictures to hear well so imagine a red Super Tinker, Spirit and beat up Casio F91W on a black one piece strap.

Oh boy, what a pair of contemporaneous beauties!    Have you had the Seamaster serviced recently?    Wondering where you sent it....  I know of one watchmaker in North America, maybe two, who would undertake that.

And the SAK is beautiful!

Great taste, @tjfarrignton2000.  :)

I bought the watch fairly recently, and as I understand it the watch was serviced. The caseback and crown gaskets were all fantastic and the amplitude and beat error are near perfect. As for an excellent watchmaker I send my stuff to one in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He’s the best of the best as far as I’m concerned. He’s so good that he’s a Rolex certified service center and one of only a few in the nation!

Casio AMW-320R-9AV with third-party bracelet and SwissChamp.

I've been thinking of getting the official Casio bracelet so thought I'd try with one I already had first. But I'm liking this one, despite the end links not quite fitting flush. I can live with that trade-off as the links are solid vs. the rolled ones of the Casio bracelet.    :)

The lizard scales on the watch strap seem to be a similar size to the textrured grip on the alox scales. Perhaps Victorinox could make me some alox scales to match the leather colour!?

I must confess, Myron, that I didn’t know! However, according to my inter web search (watch ID, so blame them if this info is wrong!) he did indeed wear a very similar Rotary watch, the only difference being a small second hand dial rather than a centre sweep second hand - I must confess I didn’t notice when watching the series when it came out on TV!

Here is my combo for today — carrying the Böker 182 for variety (within the spirit pack if not the letter of the thread).  :)

Made a bracelet a tad longer on my Hamilton Jazzmaster Day Date today. Quite frankly it was my first attempt on messing around with a bracelet size - went quite well using just a cheap Chinese tool and a large flathead + pliers on my Work Champ

It’s been a while since I had this watch on my wrist - it loses the practicality game to an Apple Watch despite Hamilton is way more beautiful and inspiring.

Dream. Wish. Leave nothing undone. Repeat.

I couldn't agree more!  Hamilton is one my favorite brands and your pictures are very smartly taken as well.  Congratulations on your bracelet surgery!

Hey ToolJoe,

You can find a strap tool on Amazon, but beware cheapies.  The best are made by a Swiss company called Bergeon.  You can expect to pay about $30-$50 for a good one.  Watch parts supply houses also sell these.  Here's one I've bought from:
