SOG Powercut?
on: November 02, 2008, 05:34:21 PM
So, the PowerAssist is already out.. Will the Powercut really be available in November?  :D I don't know why, but the Powercut really interests me- and the PowerAssist doesn't! But, I will buy one anyway!

Yea, I've essentially stopped waiting.

I'll get one whenever it DOES come out, but until then, I try not to think about it.

Well. It's now 2009 and still no Powercut out on the marked. You guys that are heading too the SHOT show got to grab a hold on Chris and look him straight in the eyes and demand a answer for when it's hitting the marked.

The PowerCut is truly nice, but I'd rather get the Palidin PT-540 instead , same wire cutting capabilities but with the advantage of the needle nose pliers.   The cutter head seems just a bit limiting, with my luck I'll have the PowerCut but need a pair of needle nose.

I told you at the meetup I dont work well with electricity. Remember when changing a 220 line on a clothes dryer to first unplug the thing. I did not have fingernails for two monthes after that one.

I just called them. they have pulled the plug. I begged for a cutting head I could adapt to my tool. he said there were some in different stages of manufaturing and maybe in two months I could call back and they would release the head. they have heads but obviously not for retail. maybe later they will sell the heads but probably not is what I heard.
