Sad to hear that it is so poorly executed and QCed. Not surprised though... chipped the pry-bar on my Center-Drive on a brass nail on day 1 (poor heat treatment I guess).
Another great design wasted on poor execution.

Let us know if you can fix the problems (loosen the screws, clean, oiling etc.). Though I did not manage to loosen the screws on the Prybrid Utility (even with heat) without mangling them.

I just uploaded a Video of the Dissassembly and showcases the problem a little more.

Looks like “lockdown” is a jinxed name to use this day and age

….anyway, just thinking out loud….in the (unlikely) scenario that I need to mod one, would working on the plastic thumb studs make any difference to making the tool OHO?  I was thinking about the thumb studs of the MP700/800 which are small but functional.

At least they're not the Gerber Covid. Although they may very well be, from what I've seen.

the thumbstuds are some sort of pot steel that is welded into the tools...annoying to say the least.

Other than the tools being too tight out of the box and the file being a little weird, I really like mine  :dunno:  I would be carrying it right now if I wasn't participating in the SAK challenge.

I researched the Dual Force (UK) I found one seller who was a trade type, and wanted a business account etc  ::)

I guess I'll just wait then

They don't like it up 'em!
