I finally watched the first two episodes.Regarding the drag race at the end of Episode one.... WTF?If you have to spend over an hour setting the car up, shouldn't you at least get a better lead than that? Otherwise, pretty cool. I am excited to watch the second half of the Columbia episode- it looks like a good old fashioned Top Gear adventure, and I do so enjoy those! The Dune buggy thing last season was cool, but they were too closely matched. It's nice to see them in totally different vehicles again, even if Clarkson did make the obvious choice for it. Although I think if I was trying to film jaguars in the wild I may have opted for something with a top! Def
That may be, but the Demon is factory tuned rather than aftermarket tuned. And, the ethanol heavy fuel used would make a huge difference in it's own right. Not to mention how much further ahead the Camaro would be in the hour and a half that it took the Demon to get ready. Def
The only other good car show that doesn't involve a bunch of bearded and tattooed guys "making custom cars" and forcing you to watch their fake drama and arguments, is wheeler dealers...sadly Edd China left it, and the guy who replaced him "Ant" does an okay job for being Edd's replacement, but a lot of the "good advice" he gives are based on you having a whole garage with like 100.000 euros full of tools and equipment and then; yes you can save money on fabricating something yourself rather than buying it, but no ordinary person has that ....Edd Chinas advice was a lot more relatable.
that Mongolia episode is worth a rewatch
What was the car they built? Something with a name or a custom made for the show?
Clarkson said "the next 13 weeks" during the first episode.......and I'm watching the 14th episode this evening!
yea it is a great thing they had a 2 parter
To be frank I prefer the specials anyway. No loss.
I am pretty sure that most people agree with you on that. I know I do. Def
