Christmas holidays - so what MTs are you taking along?
on: December 21, 2017, 09:36:18 PM
So I'll be taking the family to Austria, skiing, over Xmas week.

We'll drive, so no 'security' restrictions, but we'll stay in a hotel so the required equipment is limited to being able to cover minor emergencies only, although with the sophisticated K2 bindings on my youngest's snowboard one never knows.

I've upgraded the old  Maxpedition Travel Carry pouch (this has proved too small in the recent past) to a Beefy and have a bit more capacity now. Along for the ride: various tools including the trusty ST 300 VX, as well as the Swisschamp in a belt pouch along with a SoliLED for EDC.

I'd be interested in your holiday carries...

I will probably take my Skeley with me on Sunday to my parents house and maybe another MT like a Rebar  and Monday I will probably take a very similar carry to my in laws  They live in opposite directions from us but we are only about 10 miles to each, so not much driving involved for me on the holidays :like:

I'll be at home for the most part but my toy tool box is buried under a mountain of boxes in the garage so until I dig that out I'm limited to:

LM Surge with bit kit and wood & metal saws, GEC Calf Roper and Thrunite T10T in my bag
Rebar and Fenix LD09 in the house
Spirit in my bike tool kit
Spirit, Eagletac D25AAA and a Spyderco slip joint in my pocket
