Day 3: another shot of the Spirit and the new truck. Haven’t thought of a nickname for her yet.

That is not a “her”!  That is a “HE” machine.  Nice rich Blue with shiny chrome.

Need a big bass boat to follow such a manly truck.

Like ships, I usually name my vehicles with female names. However, my truck is nicknamed "Dersu". I think because my truck is a "Tundra" and Dersu was an old-school Siberian trapper. And they both love the snow.

And, yeah, that truck is crying out for a sweet bass boat.  :tu:

Day 14:

Exciting day here at the Nix homestead.  :ahhh

The Spirit got pressed into service opening a parcel dropped off by the mailman,  :mail:

I totally dig the sharpened awl for opening packages now.

And inside...... :ahhh

A new cast iron skillet! Oh, my, this is a beauty. I think I get as excited about a good cook pan or pot as I do when a new knife shows up. The cooking surface of this skillet is machined smooth. It's in the oven right now getting another coating of seasoning (flax seed oil), but breakfast is looking mighty fine right about now.

Haha my wallet cant handle a bass boat at the moment. Man wouldn’t a matching blue one look nice though?! I am itching to tow something and see how that HEMI does

Day 15 of 30

No work due to threat of ice and freezing rain :ahhh Temps dropped all day and went from around 60 to below freezing in a matter of a couple hours :ahhh So I was home today and worked on a slow draining bathroom sink and used the pliers (no pics of that) ::) in getting a bit of the gunk out from the top  Then we gave it the old baking soda/salt/vinegar treatment and then some very hot water on top of that :tu: Now it drains properly and the Mrs. is happy :like:

Gdoolittle, I found just what you need. It's only about $60,000 fully decked out and even has blue fenders on the trailer.

The multitool budget of an MTO member should just about cover that.

That is pretty, a machined cook surface will make that non-stick
Properly seasoned.  Eggs over easy is the ultimate test.

My wife had me search for Griswald and Weaver cast iron pans.  Found a Griswald Dutch oven and it’s bottom is silky smooth.  Got a couple Weaver brand, my son received these and says they are better than any of his lodge units.

Day 3 (yesterday)

No action shots, but I used the pliers to help dismantle a workbench at my son's school, then pressed the blade into service making duct-tape bindings for cardboard snowboards for the kids to play on. 8)

How is it to park? Here in Sweden the truck never fits in any parking spaces and sticks out everywhere or do you have bigger spots in the US?

Day 15:
Took apart a small interiour scafolding today  (no pic of the action though) and rebuilded it in the basement for storage.

Girlfriend should be home within an hour so I got ready to go out and do something fun.
Therefore, Spirit back into the Skinth:

Day 4

Slow day for the spirit and the rest of the family but when I was about to trim my mustache I had to tighten the screw on my beard scissors.. It is not the best scissors and the screw has to be tightened after each use

Very easy to park for me, but take into account ive always driven trucks, and this one has a backup camera and sensors to tell you how close you are.
