A Wise Man once said that there are no apple trees in the Endless Void of Space. Reg and Rusty have taken this to heart and have now decided to find an apple tree they can take with them for Tina and Len. So the best place to find a tree is in a forest ? Right? Well maybe ...

A Wise Man also said "It's the thought that counts". Unfortunately Rusty must've forgotten that part and Reg seems a bit distracted. You can count on our Clueless Mini heroes not to give it enough thought.

But never mind an apple tree what's this mike stand doing out here?

And why isn't Reg paying attention ? ...

Will we be getting some Mini Hero stand-up?

What's with power armour eh? You can crack open a can of beans with it, but try and eat it with your helmet on, am I right?

And you want to be careful with those beans Eugene .. especially if you're sealed in your power armour after you've eaten them

Reg has Titanium power armour.

This is good for a lot of things. Maybe not eating beans but lot's of other things.

It's even good to reach escape velocity, if Reg had the wit to use realise it, instead of relying on Land Rover Defender velocity to reach Tina and Len.

But power armour is absolutely useless against the tearful sobs of a crying girl. And even with that armour on Reg clearly has a twinkle in his eye.

Maybe she needs a good pair of scissors, to deal with a loose thread, such as those on the Pioneer X ? Reg to the rescue.

Meanwhile, in space, our intrepid U Boat Cosmonauts Tina and Len have completed construction of a permanent Moon Base based on the Moon. They've decided to call it 'Moonbase' as it's a Moonbase based on the Moon.

With the work over they have time to kick back and drink a space coffee or two while they wait for their first guests.

Another successful U Boat project FB  What we haven't figured out yet is how Len and Tina can drink without first opening their space visors and letting all their oxygen escape and having their eyeballs sucked out into the void each time the kettle boils (which is constantly because of space). Never mind, we'll get there sooner or later.

Whilst Reg introduces himself Rusty wanders over with the mike and stand.

Apparently Amy is a singer in a Pink Floyd tribute band and had been hoping to guest at The Great Gig in The Sky. Unfortunately it's on The Dark Side of The Moon and she's struggling to work out how to get there ...

Can our Clueless MiniHeroes save the day?

As time is clearly of the essence Reg has had an idea and has reconfigured the electromagnetic beam transmitter on his helmet to patch in and relay the output of Amy's mike towards the moon. Amy thinks this is all very technical but "The show must go on" and she'll give it a whirl. She's an artiste you know.

Rusty hasn't yet pointed out that Reg will need to keep his head pointed at the moon for the transmission to be consistent. But he can wait. He likes a laugh like the next man.

Amy, however, is insisting on a soundcheck. Performers, I ask you ...

Mags, can you contact Moonbase and ask Tina and Len if they're picking up Amy's soundcheck ok please? There'll be a slight time delay but that's understood.

I just thought moonshine collectors would be much more efficient than solar collectors, since they´re right at the source.

Discount astrology. Ares is currently in Uranus.

We didn't think it through during the mission planning stage. The discount Millenium Falcon and Moonbase are both run off rechargeable AAA batteries. The battery recharger is run off AA batteries and we don't have any of those.

Tina Len and Robot Smith would like to thank Amy for a great gig - If she's ever up this way, there's always a place at the mike for her. Len says sorry for fluffing the riff to 'Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun', but it brought back bad memories of actually setting the controls of the Discount Millenium Falcon for the heart of the sun. Luckily Tina did an NVQ level 2 in astro navigation and was wise enough to turn the steering wheel away from the heart of the sun.

Snufkin, Angela and minature Robot Mugabe warm themselves by the fire. There'll be no donkey herding today - they're all safe and warm in their donkey shed with buckets of hot cocoa.

Oh dear there's been a gig afterparty down here in the forest.

Looks like a couple of bottles of champagne (There's always some Disco Fizz isn't there?) have been consumed and that's before anyone hit the apricot brandy or the cherry schnapps (there's always some dodgy spirits aren't there?). Fortunately Rusty is cooking breakfast but its cold here and Amy is keeping warm by the fire (there's always a fire isn't there?).

And Reg is showing off his power armour by weight lifting (there's always someone showing off isn't there?).

But there's no cocoa and Amy would quite like some to ease her cracking headache. But Power armour is no good for hangovers is it?

Popstars eh? It's no better up here. Tina, Len and Robot Smith took Ron Who's suggestion to heart and cooked up their own batch of moonshine which they then went and consumed at the post-gig party. Luckily space hangovers aren't quite as bad as earth hangovers because of gravity. Anyway, the moon is a right mess now.
