Edit: Bloody entertaining thread by the way!  :salute:
Here's the backstory:
I had first seen LEGO and SAK photos that member magentus had posted, so I contacted him via PM to see if he would start a thread on this topic.
He had some obligations, so he said he'd be fine with me starting the thread, so credit goes to him, thanks Magsie!  :tu:
Thanks to both of you. This is a fun thread. :like: :tu: :tu:

Agreed, thanks to you both too!   :like:

... but they must carry their SAKs under their space suits ...

(I hope that two-way radio is vacuum certificated)

The SAK's are vacuum certificated, the Moonwalkie-talkie was being tested, but as you can see from one of the pics, it was untethered and Tina let go of it to flip Len the bird for a laugh. Scratch one Moonwalkie-talkie

Never mind, They are junior cosmonauts in a discount spaceship so we expect some collateral damage here and there.

They will be starting on their main mission soon..................

All they need are a couple space pens and they'll be cleared for EVA!!

Huntsman, I built this Surfer Van today, it was a fun build.  I still love the VW bus build, but this little Surfer Van should go nicely on the city streets once I build my Lego city.

Size compared to the bus:
