I usually only carry a small SAK on me at the office.  Today, like most days, it's a Compact and a Rambler on my keychain.

However, I always have this combo available in my laptop bag:

I don´t think I ever posted in here. Of course I´m a SAK guy, that´s no secret, but I do have a couple MTs: Leatherman Micra and Gerber Clutch. The main tools on these, scissors on the Micra and pliers on the Clutch, aren´t bad at all, but the other implements, mweh. So, I don´t carry them a lot. They used to be in my fishing tackle box.

Therefore, I´m glad that I struck a deal with CeHo yesterday, for a Leatherman Hybrid. Not as if I don´t have enough pruning shears, but it´s my first folding specimen. It´s likely to become part of my EDC, and to end up in this thread!

Nice.  This is very much in line with what this thread was supposed to be about--the combos and why we carry those particular items together.

Now it's just, "here's a pic of the combo that's in my pocket!" which isn't so bad, but it would be nice for users to discuss why they chose them specifically.

Ten years ago, the goal with my combos was to carry two tools with maximum utility and minimum tool redundancy.  I'm not as serious about that now, but I still try to do that.
