The knives pictured are sold, when I was there to pick up my knife he had a little Damassteel hunter that reminded me of Jeremy Clarkson's "just work harder and buy a better car"

Wow. I just looked up Namibia.  Pretty interesting.  I had no idea it was so arid.
That explains your campsite...

Nice blades BTW.

Thanks guys, the bottom one was made by a local custom maker, Robbie Bauchop, son of Peter Bauchop.
While Peter made some of the best fighting knives ever to come out of RSA (Witch, Warlock, the Recce Combat shown above, etc) Robbie has branched off to make things like swords and art knives.
He regularly wins awards at the annual knifemakers guild shows for them. He still does some of the best hunting and fighting knives but adds some art and fantasy to them.
Hes a bit of a hippy/surfer/biker ;o) , meant in the best possible way.

He makes this knife set for collectors with a big 5 theme and I asked him to modify one the designs for me; probably 15+ years ago.
So this is currently a one of a kind, don’t think he has made another in this size.

Thanks Sparky, it was sold as a Japanese temper fighter, but I use it as a bush knife and although it has an 81/2in. blade it's quite light with good balance, and is a surprisingly good chopper.
