You know this is my favorite thing to do as well.  Use whatever fixed blade you have in the kitchen  :hatsoff:.  Awesome knife too.
Thanks. It’s no fun anymore using just a normal kitchen knife.

Mora Robust and stainless steel Companion. If you ask me, the Robust has the perfect length and spine thickness for most tasks.

Does anyone have an Enzo / Brisa Bobtail? Can't find any meaningful reviews online. Looks like an odd blend of kitchen, bushcraft and puukko knife. Nice size by the looks of it.

My wife bought me this Buck 691, or the Buck Zipper.  She got for me in 2001, in anticipation of me going deer hunting with her dad.

Well.... things didn’t really go that direction. Haha

I mean, we went and I watched him field dress a deer. However, as it worked out, I just never got around to hunting myself. Love deer meat, I just am not an early morning, set in a tree kind of guy. Haha. Especially on those frigid Indiana mornings!!  LOL

So... the knife has sat in a box, unused, all these years.  Well, I dug it out and will start using it around the house, especially in the kitchen. I figure the gut hook will be great as a package opener. Haha

Might have to have a go at making a kydex sheath for it as I don’t care for the included nylon sheath.

Here’s another that hasn’t seen much use lately.   I won this Morakniv here at MTO several years ago.

I took it camping a few times and it performed great. It was used and abused for everything. Only damage was to the handle when I was batoning some fire wood and missed the spine once. Oops!

It has been just setting in a box for a few years now.  Time has come to dig it out and use it around the house. Basement and out in yard.

It’s great to dig out old/forgotten kit and put it to use!
