Can I get a picture(s) with some size comparisons?
on: February 13, 2018, 05:14:28 PM
I'd like to see some size comparisons for a bunch of MT's--the funny thing is, I could have done a lot of these at one point but am down to a bare bones inventory now.

Leatherman:
PST
Pulse
Fuse
Wave
New Wave

Vic:
Spirit

SOG:
PP Pocket (or whatever it is called)

Anybody able to help with that, or point me to a thread that has them?

Knife blades.

The PST I had close at hand is a PST2 so the blade is partially serrated but size wise same as PST.  I only have a knifeless Fuse sorry.

Aloha, these are great! :salute:

If I could request it, could you show a shot comparing the thickness of the tools as well?

Excellent, thanks!

Looking at most Leatherman tools from the tops, IMO, doesn't tell as much as from the sides. Most are the 4" frame, so they all look pretty much the same. Seeing them from the sides makes the size a little more clear, i think.

I agree Lynn.  Width can make the difference in how you might carry it.  The Fuse and Pulse are both rather thick.  The PST and PPP are comparable width wise however the exposed gears of the PPP need to be considered.  The Spirit is decently thinner but a tad longer than all of them.  Tool density for size is what tends to do it for me.  I don't mind a larger MT but it has to have a good tool load out for the space used.
