Hey guys,
Got a new SwissTool as a local retailer was removing their last models before xmas. However, the one I got had a really stiff opening. So I took a file to take down the spring-resisting bump a bit. Seems to work, but of course now I seem to have some tiny bits of metal dust that have found their way into between the tools, and are effectively acting as tiny bits of sand there, grinding when you pull out the tools!
So, any ideas how to get the tiny metal bits out? It's riveted, so no easy takedown. Could I do something to make them come out faster?
I actually was thinking maybe I could boil the tool
Hopefully the small thermal expansion would help and maybe also it could help the metal bits to oxidize into rust
