Might try carrying it if I can find a decent sheath...

SwissChamp sheath might be most natural. Or some magazine pouches from a military surplus store.  I use an IDF cordura magazine pouch for my SwissChamp. Must have such things from US military surplus?

The pouch from Victorinox sold for the Hunter Pro and other knives is 11cm X 5cm, and is a good fit for my SwissChamp. It sits a bit low in the sheath, but I have a small wiping oilcloth folded in the bottom, and that works great. Swiss-made, with a large rectangle of Velcro on case and flap. My IDF mag pouch is a better fit, but the Vic pouch is absolutely acceptable.

Looking at the 2017 catalogue, the swisschamp pouch could fit the S54

So I guess no. 15, 18, 19 and 21 shouldn’t be a problem too...

I ended up with the number 15 after some info from Top Gear 24. It’s tight at first and I had to trim the inner lip due to the knife lock button catching.

I’ve carried it a few times. I will use it more and more.

Thanks for the visuals here, greatly appreciated!!

For future readers, the recommended pouches for the S54 are:

4.0481.3 - black leather imitation
4.0481.1 - red leather imitation

Also the S54 is basically the exact same size as the XLT Swiss Champ so you can also use:

4.0521.XL

This is the one I've been using.

The XL sheath is the best option looking at how the S54 sits/fits inside the sheath, and it's very well made.  Only downside to me was the size of the sheath on your belt, that's why I went for the "Swisschamp with Maglite" vinyl sheath.

We did discuss the sheath options in another topic as well, if you want to check out the other topic, click here.

Where are you seeing as recommended pouches?  Just curious...

If you were wondering, this is #15 with the EV S 54 in on the front, and a flip phone in another one behind

Let the chain hang out the front so it is easier to pull it from this snug unit.
