Wait a minute, has the Cadet got a nail file cut like the metal saw/file instead of the stippled (sand-paper looking) file it used to have? If so, I'm definitely getting one. Hopefully, the 58mms and the Executive gain it too.
Two pics made at the IWA 2018 show in Germany. The IWA is comparable to the SHOT Show.Victorinox was not willing to share ANY paper information on it, nor on any other product. In 2017 they had at least the small brochures lying around.I asked politely for some brochures or a catalog and the answer was: "We only give brochures to retail sellers, not to consumers. Go and see for it in a shop". Such an arrogance!! There are two possibilities:1. They have to cut down on costs.2. They think the knives will sell anyway, no matter how the public thinks if them.Well, I was really shocked by so much arrogance and consumer dislike. At the booth of Swiza knives it was totally different. They had attention to everyone interested in their products and Swiza's beautiful catalog was for free.
Will there be any more LE stuff this year? Or just an Xmas LE?
Same thing showing for the Sportsman!

But if they bring back the old style grooved nail file, i'm open to overlook the lack of the small blade and definitely get one. Does anybody has an idea on the possible prices of the red alox ones? They look cool but i'm guessing they will go for a hell of a lot more than the same standard of that model, being labeled "special Edition" it just screams "collectors" and "ridiculous price" for nothing more that a fancy box and a "special edition" label.... BTW, the Executive already has the grooved nail file, always had. It's the only Sak that kept that same old style file from the begging.
DLT has some very nice and interest SAK! Thanks for the link.
