Ebay doesn't care about fake SAK listings.

Hey! Check out this smoking hot deal on Ebay!  A SAK for only $6.98!  What do you mean "FAKE"?  It says Swiss, and it has the VIctorinox logo, right?  Don't bother reporting it to Ebay.  I've tried that several times, even when the listings used the Victorinox name. They DON'T CARE.

I've done it probably a baker's dozen times, if not more. Not one has been taken down.  An eBay seller once listed a Colonial Swiss Master as a Vic, I told him it was not, and he said he would change it--he didn't.

So long as they get their cut, and it doesn't violate their TOS, they don't care. Reasons I've been done with fleaBay for a while include that.

outside of the little mto bubble ebay is slow to react, in general. I have reported suspiciously cheap listings from sellers with zero feedback or feedback that shows an item being shipped between continents in 1 day (i.e. fake)  and they do not/cannot take immediate action.

However we are to blame many times for ordering these items (taking a gamble) and even leaving positive feedback when we get our money back on a fake/dameged item (I pointed it out in another thread)

We basically hide behind the paypal protection.

For ebay to take notice people will need to stop using it.

I am not in a hurry to do so....
