A lesser loved tool.

Added a permanent bit adaptor and metal file. Handle splay reduced. Original had a splay so wide that will make even a gorilla cry...

Keep them coming!

That Suspension looks a million times nicer with so little splay. Hats off to you.  :hatsoff:
Did you remove material from the plier stops or the plierhead?
:salute:
From the plier stops. Past experience tells me the tool will not lock up properly if not perfectly done at the plierhead...

It's.. Not.. Disabled.. Clear tape....  :P

Tweezers? I've never seen tweezers in a MP. I thought it was a Robertson.

They were only ever used on the MP700. Surprisingly useful, and a lot better at getting splinters out than the blunt nosed pliers are :D

this one was my only bladeless mod, a SOG Powerlock, the one I lost this August.  :salute:

it has a better Phillips (Leatherman's 3D) but keeping the original as well because they fit different sizes,

also has something better than those wonky scissors (from a Leatherman too  :D)

and a decent can opener instead of the famous SOG can't opener (and it's again from a LM ) but I kept the original for the precision mini flathead

I am fond of SOG's awl so I kept it, but I swapped the saw
it's a weird Chimera but the only one I had that it was intended to be carried through metal detectors at specific places I visit a few times a year
My toys:

MTs: Surge (2x), Skeletool CX, Rebar, Blast, Fuse, Micra, Squirt (3x), Wave, Crunch, Mini, Spirit (2x), Pro Scout, MP700 (2x), Diesel, Powerlock, PowerPlier (2x), PocketPowerPlier, Blacktip , ST6 (2x), 5WR, A100

SAKs: Bantam, Executive, Ambassador, Minichamp, Classic Alox, Champion, Farmer, Explorer, Swisschamp, Golf Tool, Wenger Champ, EVO 52, Pocket Tool Chest

I like it how the old school Sogs and OG leatherman tools are almost swappable. Do the newer LM tool just fit in without modification? The groves on the LM tools looks a little bigger though.

Some very nice ideas and solutions in here, great read!  :like:

My bladeless MP400:

The remgrit saw cannot be kept in the holder, as the tool would not close. Not a big deal for me though, as i like the versatility the saw holder offers. I just keep the saw blades in the sheath or in one of the pockets of my work pants.

These two are really cute.

:agree:  i wish there were more bladeless options on MTs on SAKs.   I’ve thought a bladeless Yeoman with the 85mm file in place of knife or an Explorer with Metal Saw/File in place knife layer could be real nice.
