Finally! A red Voyageur. Not the most pristine example, but it'll do. I had to replace the scissors spring with a modern unit, and there's a tiny nick out of the tip of the blade, but otherwise it's in fine shape. (Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)

That's still a great catch, but in hindsight you could probably have made a good amount of money on reselling that stuff nowadays at the current prices

I found a pic of that same lot somewhere in my email archive. I remember making an offer on several of the 74mm SAKs.
It's a small world.I contacted him once or twice but never got a response. I never really tried again and also never checked eBay or other places.
