You hit the nail on the head.
It's amazing how he got so popular just from 10 minutes or so in the original trilogy!
In Empire Strikes Back Boba Fett was only in two scenes combined for less than 30 seconds if I recall correctly.  A bit more in Jedi returns.

The backstory was likely created because of the neat outfit.  Then his ship Slave I

How do you manage to live life, work, make money, have relationships etc etc etc.........and have the time and energy to so fully immerse yourself in a "franchise" to the extent you can punch holes in the timeline/continuity?

I've edited the question to answer it.
"Even if it is only the handful of people I meet on the street, or in my home, I can still protect them with this one sword" Kenshin Himura

Necessity is the mother of invention. If you're not ready, it's "a mother". If you are, it's "mom".

I will probably get roasted here for saying this, but please remember...I saw the original trilogy first runs in the theaters back when Coca cola came in glass bottles. I've been a big fan, and Han was my favorite character.

When Empire came out, there was a lot of "cool" to see there. Boba Fett being top cool. We all hoped to see some really great stuff in Return of the Jedi and it was a big let down specifically the teddy bears and Fett's demise.

I was excited to see that The Mandalorian was being made and that Favro was the driving force. He's a fan and already made some great movies with a hero in another metal suit and helmet, so I was hopeful.

So...on to what I may be roasted for...

This latest episode of Mandalorian- called "the Prisoner"- well, the ending is like an old 6 million dollar man, or super friends, or batman TV show ending. Ok? For a 4 year old. Junk. Garbage. Takes away from Mando's "bad-assery" and turns him into a Saturday morning cartoon instead of that "harsh reality" mentioned earlier in this thread.

I thought this one was supposed to be edgy?!

And are they really doing only 8 episodes like Stranger things?

Oh, c'mon!

I'm checking out.

I have GOT to pirate the show, just so I can read the spoiler-y rant thread. :D
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!
