I've opted to pass on this... the free version does a good job if needed...

I have friends who have the free version but not signed up (for spam) that
didn't know about this "pro" version.

They don't make the free version easy to find... understandably, they'd like all their customers to be paying customers... Seems like there are heaps of Internet security suites these days complete with antivirus, firewall, and anti-trojan/spam etc type stuff...

Although if you don't mind having a bunch of different vendor programs you can get the same stuff for free...

Anyone looking for a free antivirus I'd suggest either AVG http://free.avg.com/ or Avast Home Edition http://www.avast.com/ (requires you to register on their site, but they email you a 1y+ key which can be renewed... my last renewal they gave me 18months...)
