Day 26

Just some package opening, bought small split rings as I find the original ones on Vics too big.

Nice pic, Ron!

Day 27

In the morning we went for a nice late morning stroll with the wife, but got a pretty good thunderstorm, so we sat in a place and had some coffee specialities - as I had the Swisschamp on me, I made a SAK-in-a-cafe photo in the vein of ThePeacent's pics. :) In the evening I opened some sweets.

Will do, definitely! My wrenches are still on the way from loki, but perhaps next weekend I will be able to deal with the scissors.

When you're at it make sure to pay attention to not widen the handles. The tool-locks must not slip out of the holes they're secured and rotate in.

I've made an adjustment to mine sure to that...

No problem, I was planning to do a proper research on the site and ask around for tips before doing it, so it's very much welcome.

Mine was a Guatemalan hazelnut coffe, the wife had a something-something (I forget), which had orange juice in it - surprisingly it wasn't half bad.

Day 28

Today the original, cheap, traditional split ring let go on the car keychain, so I put it on a good quality Vic ring, used the chisel as a wedge. The Mrs. also performed an "emergency " eyebrow plucking on me with the tweezers when we went out, she just couldn't stand that one rogue hair. No picture of the latter operation. :)

Nice job Exeter, Swisschamp to the rescue  :o
I usually use the Can-opener for that because I cut myself accidently too much already

Yeah, after the fact I thought of the can opener too, but right then the chisel seemed the most precise tool for the job so I just went with that. :) Probably the mini screwdriver would have worked as well.

Great job guys!  My Rebar and Swisschamp share a space on my belt for work.  I find they compliment each other very well.

Not sure if you're serious or just having a laugh, but it's an onion (red), not raddish. :)

Day 30

As I already said yesterday, this challenge flew past really quickly, here I am, on the final day.

And I guess this is the first 30-day challenge where I have a very clear conclusion, which is: I don't need a Swisschamp.  :P

Not that I don't like having one, I do, very much so, but the things I used it for these past 30 days I could have done with an Explorer as well. I love how capable the Swisschamp is, and it will definitely stay in my rotation as my EDC bag multitool (alternating with a Rebar and a Juice XE6), because I like to be prepared  - or at least feel prepared -, but yeah, not a true personal EDC item, at least not for my lifestyle.

Anyway, I enjoyed the challenge nonetheless, and the thought of "having to" rely on a tool this versatile and capable for a month was pretty satisfying.
