The X is the one I have and the one I'd vote for, but I have to agree, the file is pretty poo.  :(

Thats exactly what I thought until I cut a bolt in half with one the day before yesterday  :o It couldnt have performed any better and I was most surprised .

I prefer the regular swisstool, with the 2 cutting blades, file, and saw. If I need scissors I use my leatherman squirt.  :sak:

Swisstool CS for me.  The socket wrench is a great compliment to the ST-X and works well as a stand alone tool.  With the leather case holding all tools together as one kit is really really nice.  The separate socket wrench works much better in real-world application then using an adapter to fit onto the MT itself (e.g. Leatherguy adapter).  The bits include a large and small phillips to compliment the medium phillips on the ST itself.  The only down side is that its heavy.

Got the plus set (minus the corkscrew) with my ST-X, but I love the new ratchet even more.

Do you put all 3 tools (ST + ratchet/extension + socket wrench) in one large leather case?

The ratchet is waiting the arrival of the new spirit (when that will be released), but the swiss tool + socket wrench resides in one nylon pouch I've purchased separately. It's made by Tatonka (Euro brand I belive) and I'll re post pics of it.

I'll looking to buy the corkscrew separately for my ST-X (found a seller on ebay) know a few girls who're into vine
