!!! ALARMING !!!
on: May 15, 2020, 09:45:20 PM
Just thought I would post this  one. So I am up at one of those "Farm type" big boxes -- and I ENTER and the stupid theft alarm goes off. The manager looks at me like What the ????   ... Nothing in my pockets to speak of, so I pulled my Tool Chest Plus out of the pouch, and slipped it between the detector. It sets it off. Then took out my Swiss Tool and did the same thing, it also set the thing off. With the manager holding both units, I walked back thru the detector, and now it is quiet.

So what is it detecting? Swiss tools. Or Stainless steel tools?

Puzzling to all parties.

Your thoughts?

Is there one of those idiotic magnetic deals in the sheath somewhere? I set those alarms off everywhere I went for a long time, until a lady at Walmart suggested I check my wallet. Had it for a few years. Sure enough, there it was in a card pocket. I’m saving it for a joke someday now.  Because of all that, I still cringe whenever I enter stores.

Are any of the tools magnetized? That could be the reason.
