GEC 71 Bull Nose. This ones blade is made of O1 steel. The first two runs of the 71 were O1 before they went to 1095.

That's a nice looking knife David :tu:  Interesting that they changed steel after a couple production runs.

Yes it is and I dont know why. I must say I'm really taking a liking to this one already. This 71 has delrin covers and is a little thinner and lighter than the micarta 71 I have.

:like:  The RED is very nice!

I have two Case Jr sod Busters.
Is your GEC a full size or a Jr size.

I plan to pickup a full size next time, as the Jr are a tad small for my liking.

I only have one at the moment, a delrin yellow Case Jr.  It's a great little carry.

LC the Bull Nose is a hair bigger than the Jr at 3 7/8"

Thank you, but the RED does look very, very nice.

I like the blade on these models, in fact I have a couple kitchen knives I enjoy slicing and chopping with flat back or bull nose blade.

Oh, did mention, that RED just pops!!!😜

That is quite and assortment!  It would have been really nice if you identified the maker and style of each of your beauties.

I always have a hard time telling a Jr from a full size if not side by side. 🤪. You know what I mean :hatsoff:

Impressive number of similar designs.

Cool 😎
