UP for sale/trade is a brand new, unused Urban Protector. My folks and I are determining what we need/can use and what we don't---this is one of the items. They don't like it lying around unused (and don't really like what it's for), so I either have to:
1) Trade it for something that will be used.
2) Sell it
3) Throw it away.
It is a Titanium icepick with a carbon fiber outer layer. The icepick part is about 2 5/8" long, and the entire thing about 5 3/8". The diameter isn't very big, so it can pass for a pen unless the person separates the halves. The two halves are held together using rare-earth magnets, which makes it nearly impossible for accidental deployment (they snap together with a very solid sound). There is a lanyard hole, through which I have included a paracord/bead chain lanyard---perfect for neck use. Bobby's page on this is the following:
