Ok, I've even come close to tripping over a deer!  :like: Had a curious fox walk up to say hello at my front step once, but no deer.  I do see them up on the nearby hill though.

The “tripping over a deer” part reminds me of taking my wife to a cabin in the Adirondack mountains.  When we went outside there was a deer lying in the path to go to our car.  He couldn’t be bothered to move as we walked around him even with Fisher.

Any snow where you are, Barry?  Just finished up a few days of much-needed rain here, but temps have been high.  Rain has stopped now, and temps are falling fast.  Santa likes it better when he can bring a sleigh rather than a 4X4 with mud tires.  Best wishes.  Gary

Not anymore Gary.  We had 3 inches but it's all rain now.  We've had almost 2 inches in the past couple of days.  We needed it badly here too.   Santa will definitely need mudders here!
