This came in today. O yes, that 154cm indeed! Now my wave is perfect. Only need those bits to get the damn thing apart. They are not very easy to get around here. Ordered two from eleatherman so I should be set and done in a week or two! Can't wait

Yeah he is a great guy  :tu: I got one of those blades from him as well  plus some pins for my Blast :) one of the knurled screws got a little beat up in the disassembling process ::) He is really a great guy

I got my blade in my Wave and hit it on my sharpener a few times  :o very scary sharp now and it (the edge) takes and holds very well :)

Make sure you don't take off too much of the liner lock, Zepla.

 Nikko do you have to grind the lock down to fit the upgrade blade ?

While i'm not Nikko i'm still going to give you the answer.

There is a good chance the 154CM blade will fit in your Wave without grinding, provided the old knifeblade has been used enough to wear the top of the liner slightly.
However, if your Wave is still in like new condition, so with a knifeblade that has hardly been used, the tang of the new 154 CM blade will be a fraction to long to fit right in.

In this case what you need to do, after removing the old blade, is to file down the top of the liner ever so slightly, for instance with a medium stick from a Spyderco Sharpmaker.
File a few strokes, then try to fit the new blade, if necessary file a bit more, but don't overdo it.
The endresult should be a liner which seats completely under the tang, but not further, leaving enough room for wear in the future.

My wave have seen lot of action so I'm guessing that it will fir nicely. I'm waiting for those IPRX10 bits to get in from Eleatherman. Once I have them I can take the original blade out and put the 154cm in. I just have to be patience for now  >:( ;)

Finally here it is

I got those weird bits in from eleatherman (thanks for that!) to take my wave apart and placed the 154cm blade from Kwakster in.
To make a long story short, I am happy, very happy!

Thanks Kwakster and eleatherman to make this happen  :tu:

I forgot to mention, the blade fits like a glove! Didn't have to file down anything.  :tu: I don't know how he did it, but it is an excellent piece of precision work if you ask me  :salute:

Or if you do cut your finger off... remember to take pictures :D
