dogs will walk you, whereas cats will walk back in the house and sit and claw at you if you go near them with a leash.

Unfortunately there is a thing about free speech- sometimes folks say things you don't like and you either ignore it or tolerate it as there may eventually be things that you say or do that they find inappropriate, and you'd probably appreciate it if they didn't try to censor you.

It wouldn't be much of a forum if we had lots of taboo topics... more like an "againstum" and nobody wants that.

Yeah, that would be a terrible fate indeed, but this is a free community, and dominated mostly by men. While it does tend to stay "G" rated most of the time, everyone here is a hard working individual and entitled to things like a good stiff drink.

That having been said, we don't usually promote offensive things like drunkenness, improper behavior, lawbreaking, drug use or abuse, misconduct of a physical nature, and any threads that may contain that kind of thing often have a warning in the title for just that reason. Many of our members do share the forum with their kids as well, and we all respect that.

Of course, I doubt we could convince 1,000+ members to check what threads you are on before posting!

Invite your mother to come visit the site, and she'll see that while we may be heavy on the testosterone, we are a decent bunch of guys that mean no harm. If she has any questions or comments, you can have her contact me directly at grant.lamontagne@gmail.com and I would be happy to help out.
