Swisschamp file poll/questionnaire

I'm rebuilding an old swisschamp and while I've got it apart I thought about replacing the file with the newer stainless steel type. Just wondering if any of you have had problems with the new ones yet, the old one is fine I'm just "tuning" up my old swisschamp.

If the old one isn't broken then I think you should use it. Of course, if you don't change anything it's not a mod, it's just a refurbishment.

The main reason I took it apart was to replace the scissors and pliers which both were pretty beat. I actually went ahead and replaced the file too, just finished while ago. I'll post pics tomorrow when there's better light. I got the knife 3 years ago which is a 1990ish swisschamp off ebay for $20, after 3 weeks of watching it not sell I finally got an extra $20 so I could buy it (they listed it as Victurinox). It was pretty well new, I got my $20 worth out of it, now it had a midlife crisis and got a facelift.

Personally I prefer the newer version - nothing wrong with the old, but the new one is more aggressive.

I don't know why I can't post pics, I tried a week ago in the swap section too, tried lower resolution and everything. I guess use your imagination what it looks like...
