Aitor, Spanish. Not a fake but a look-alike.

Aitor never claimed their knives to be SAKs, and their quality is much better than fake Chinese ones. Not on par with Vx though.

What Ron said, 100%.
They are perfectly useable knives and won't cost you a finger.

Ok, price tag is just too big for not being real one. I decided not to buy it cause its part of set what seller is selling and i dont think all of these together are worth of 70€

I don't know...

It's a vintage Aitor with long nail file and bail.

Some collectors might actualy pay just that for one...

Actually it could be an "IHER" which later on became to Aitor.

Even though it's not Swiss to be a SAK, the main concepts are the same,  for me it's not a fake,it's not comparable with Chinese ones, they were made according to high quality standards and therefore Aitor was one of the GAK suppliers.

I grew up among Aitor & Vics, I live around 60km away from the original company location, but too young to start collecting, they always got my attention

Aitor is well known by its survival knives.

Not exactly the same as the one in the picture but it can be found in a 1966 Catalog the same toolset.

I suppose that after Victorinox patented the can opener Aitor changed its own design.

It's pretty old, and really appreciated here in Spain.

Great piece :like::cheers:

Asked to a friend of mine, who has quite a lot Aitor. He has the same but with Phillips instead of CS.

This is de 2nd biggest Aitor tool just behind Aitor "Emperador".

I have two like that.
Even an alox
Think that those are hardly going to be more.

And the alox

For many people, the Aitor is worth that money.
