The thing I’ve found with these Knifeless versions that they can still be confiscated. Maybe it’s the saw, or the can opener, or even just the pliers. Just really depends on the perceptions of the person in power.

Just so its basically pliers and screwdrivers with the option of various bits attachments. 1) that's all I need and ever use in a multitool 2) I can carry it legally with me in public places and pretty much anywhere, including traveling

https://avinor.no/flyplass/praktisk-informasjon/planlegg-reisen/bagasjeregler/skarpt-eller-spisst"Tenger" means "pliers" in Norwegian, "Håndbagasje" means "carry-on luggage", and "Nei" means "No".Avinor is the company which runs all major airports in Norway, so for Norway, pliers are explicitly disallowed very much from the horse's mouth. I am happy for you that other places are not as restrictive. I simply assumed this was the same in all of Schengen.
Scandinavians are very open-minded, you know.
