Nice job MMR :like: :tu:

It almost makes wonder why LM designers the handles the way they did....they are so much better this way...

....that was one thing I always loved about my Kick, was how easy it is to open and close....and with that; how easy it is to use with one hand, if needed

Good job MMR :tu:

Somehow that particular aspect of the Rebar handles has never bothered me, but you're right, why were they designed this way?

Good job MMR :tu:

Somehow that particular aspect of the Rebar handles has never bothered me, but you're right, why were they designed this way?

When I first got my Rebar, one day I was working on a lawn mower on troubleshooting what ticked all the symptoms of a bad ground connection somewhere...

...anyway, I don’t remember exactly what I was doing, but it was something where I had to hold a part with one hand and use my LM with the other, and in that process I had to close one handedly and pressing it against my leg (like I have always done with my Kick and charge without any issues), but due to the Rebars handles design I couldn’t do it and I had to leave it open and just stick it in my pocket instead of back in the sheath.

Ever since that day this design of the handles has bothered me.

And on several occasions due to this design, the handles has “snapped shut” when trying to close them in a hurry and in that process they have pinched my hand and fingers several times too..

...so it was just a matter of time before I would do something to address this.

I must say though; after having rounded them off like I did, they feel a lot more smooth and “right” to open and close now, in the same way that my charge and Kick feels...meaning; this is how they should feel.

Which makes me wonder even more why they designed them in a way where they hit each other when you open and close them, because they didn’t feel “right” before
