Latest addition...a Bulova Accutron II Lobster. Those domed crystals make taking no glare good photos of them challenging.

The latest is an Invicta Reserve Cruise-line Liberty of the Sea. It is 0001/1112 and features a black mother of pearl face. I will say, it is beautiful when the light hits it just right...otherwise, the face is mostly black. I could not get the light right to show the colours in my photos.

That might be my next Invicta actually. I was looking at those as well.

Some oddity with these limited editions though. To me, they seem almost disingenuous. The Mickey Mouse was cool...that is until I did some research. They are selling quite a few "limited edition" Mickey Mouses off of Amazon alone that are slightly different from each other. The same with this watch. The seller posted a photo of a "Carnival Fantasy" that was of a limited run of 889, and instead I got this identical one that says Liberty of the Seas with a limited run of 1112 watches. I am unsure if I should complain as the watch I thought I was getting is the exact same as this one in looks and all. What makes them limited from one another, other than the name on the back, is beyond me? I am unsure I will return it, as the watches are identical for all intents and purposes. I also noted other watches like this with slightly different names that are also "limited editions". What is more worrisome...many of those online researches also show a first run number like mine. In fact, there was a place selling the same named model as mine (minus photo of the watch) and advertised it as 0001 of 1112. I was a bit upset by that one, except way day in the description, that one was #62 and not #1.

Regardless, I couldn't find much on the watch other than Invicta makes these annual cruises with Carnival where they sell a bunch of watches at steep discounts on board, and quite a few post of folks upset that their "deal" wasn't much of one as they could buy the watches cheaper off of Amazon.

I like the looks of Invicta. In fact, I find their watches rather bold in design...which I like...but their business practices sort of leave me feeling cold at times. I guess so long as I buy what I like at a price point I like, I can't go wrong.

Still a nice looking watch. It is my first reserve.

Thanks Wspeed. I wore it to work today and I must say, that black mother of pearl watch face is nice once the sun hits it. Otherwise, very understated and easy to read.

Latest addition, an Invicta Pro Diver Automatic. Model 27663. Good for 20 bar water resistance. Oddly enough, when I did my research, several sites erroneously stated the watch was good for 500 meters.

The watch is 52 mm wide, and 21mm thick. It is big and heavy. Oddly enough, I do like the case on this one, along with the domed crystal and marine flag motif, this one is a very nice looking watch in my opinion.

Interesting watch, so I guess this would kinda make it part of grand series?
Cause they have their grand vs pro dive,
The pro is only good for like 200m
Vs the grand which is go for 300m,
Plus the grand is a little more hefty!

Not sure. Online sources state 500m but the watch and Invicta's own website states 200m water resistance. Either way...this is a nice looking watch.

It is, and that case looks like a monster which would make it grand series, but it doesn’t have the scuba helmet on it, which makes it only a pro series, yet if it says to 500m only the grand does 300m, and yet says on it only 200m so weird..
But still, how far are you going to take it besides the shower and possibly a 12ft pool?

Same, yet the thing that gets me is how they say it’s rated, 200 or 300m, that’s some serious depth, yet then for the pro 200m it says In general, suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports, but not scuba diving..

Latest addition, a Nixon Comp.

Also just pulled the trigger on a Tauchmeister Automatic T0276 Diver. Not sure what to make of Tauchmeister. I am very curious to see what this watch will look like in person.

After having a bit of FedEx entertainment, I finally got this T0276 Tauchmeister Automatic Diver Watch in today.

Here are the specs taken from the listing:

- Professional helium valve on 9:00 o'clock, in order to be able to lead during external pressure
reduction (e.g. emerging) the accumulating helium fast enough from the clock
- central second indicator
- Date indicator at 3:00 (quick winding with the crown on 4:00 at Pos. 1 clockwise rotation)
- 24 hour hand (not separate adjustable)
- high quality automatic movement with 21 jewels
- professional one side rotating bezel system
- special coated luminous hands and dial
- XL- case-size 52 mm; thickness 15,5 mm; all stainless steel
- special "Polygon" screwed crown , diameter 5,5mm
- WR 100bar "3280 feet" water resistant
- SAPPHIRE glass
- screwed bottom "moderate temperature assembled"
- high quality diver Strap ( max. arm extent 235mm)

The whole watch face glows rather nicely after charging with a bit of light.
