I wore the watch today to a VEX Robotics competition, and that black rubber strap is a dust magnet. Thinking I may get a replacement strap for it.

Hmmm...Photobucket appears to be kicking me out of my account. I ignored a message from them stating that I had to re-instate my account...not sure why as I was happy with my old account. Guess they weren't. I am not happy with their strong arm tactics...so unsure if I will be allowed to use it or am I kicked out...or if the site is just down at the moment. With that said, I was unable to upload a photo of the newest addition to the collection...a Diesel Mega Chief watch.

I have been wearing that tauchmeister diver...and am very happy with it. I have found The watch to have a 4 day run time sitting still. It is a very nice auto.

Latest addition, a Nixon Comp.

Also just pulled the trigger on a Tauchmeister Automatic T0276 Diver. Not sure what to make of Tauchmeister. I am very curious to see what this watch will look like in person.

Love the color on this one.

Very nice watches indeed Nikanor.

Yes Aloha, I like that colour also. that is the one the women behind the counter hid so that she could buy it later. I did feel somewhat bad for buying it...but it was so unusual.

Found a nice G-Shock at the local Value Village of all places. I got a very good deal on it. It is a gold edition GA-110GD-9B. When I got it home, I changed the digital time but noticed that the hands didn't jive with the time. I now know why the watch was given to Value Village. A quick look online at some instructions to bring the analogue hands to the home position fixed the issue. Now both the digital and analogue time are the same. The gold is rather sharp if I may say so.

And an update of sorts. My Tauchmeister Automatic Diver Watch T0276 came with a rubber band that I didn't much care for. It was a major dust magnet. I ordered a beautiful Milanese mesh bracelet for it only to find out the bracelet will not fit my wrist. I was going to buy another 24mm bracelet for it when I noticed that one of my bling watches that was broken by a jeweler, had the bracelet just sitting there. A quick measurement showed me the bracelet was also 24mm and would fit. I sort of like the combo now as it is very showy, and the bracelet and watch sort of match..

Had a bit of fun. For about a week or so, I was getting a watch chiming at around midnight. I looked long and hard but couldn't figure which one was the culprit. Today, I wore my G-Shock GA110 out today. I placed it on my side table in the living room. I am playing on my computer when I get ready to rush and try to find the little beeper. It comes from the front...BINGO!

I look on the display and see the tiny alarm logo flashing. Got ya! Now I should be good to go and not get woken up at around midnight.
