DAY 26

Tonight the Rebar assisted in setting up the new dryer. Used the pliers, awl,  PE blade, and the large flat driver.  All the tools worked great.

Day 28/30

Rebar helped me to replace fuses on my car.

After this challenge im not sure do i keep this tool on my edc, dont get me wrong but i think Rebar is not good to use when gloves on. Only pliers and blades are easy to use when gloves are on, all other tools just cant be reached easily especially saw side.

Im gonna replace my Rebar with its big brother ST300

Back in town again !
Had great days after the wedding, but tomorrow working life starts again

As i already suspected before, no cellphones  or camera’s were allowed in the Spa resort we had our honeymoon trip.

Only could take pictures in our room, not the most exiting but i did take a daily pic

Day 25:
Our arrival, rebar meets luggage

Day 26:
Also on holiday, an Apple a day keeps the doctor away !

Day 27:
Late a night we came home again,
Rebar opening the waiting mail

Day 28:
After a lazy Movie sunday i
put some hooks on a board for paracord bracelet making.

DAY 28 AND 29

I have no action shots for these 2 days. I’ve been out hunting and camping.  I did use the Rebar for multiple jobs through out the 2 days.

I used the PE blade for all my food opening, the pliers for grabbing the pot of boiling water off the fire for my coffee, and then serrated blade cut a strap off my pack that was dangling and driving me crazy.  The Saw came in handy for clearing some small stuff where we made camp.

I usually carry a Mora and a silky for all camp tasks, but the Rebar did just fine this go around.

Mechanical pencil jammed, used the wire stripper to break it off far enough back to get at the led.

You folks are doing a great justice to the Rebar  and its abilities.

Will try to keep up these last couple days.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Was too tired yesterday, forgot to post the pic afyer taking it...

Day 29:
Removed tags from my newly acquired clothes

Day 30:
Opening mail again with the PE blade.

Technically october has one more day, So maybe watch for tormorrows post...
Halloween...

My thoughts on the rebar :
This month i had a lot going on with the wedding, had a lot less technical things to fix, this might color my opinion on the rebar a little.
I find it a good companion, capable of its tasks. I doubt the file is as good as the waves, and i certainly appriciate the awl.
Blade wise, i do like the PE blade more on the rebar than the SE blade. The SE blade Just does not cut as well as the SE blade on my wave. PE was better after i sharpened it myself. I have no experience in sharpening the SE blades.
What was truly missed, were scissors, on the wave they were used freqently. I tried to accomplish those things with the PE blade but that was tricky sometimes. Many times my little victorinox sd had to step in there.
I might add scissors to the rebar, but i also do not want to lose the lanyard hole.

I Will keep the rebar, but as i intended, in the car or work bag when carrying my Skeletool or in case oho blades are prohibited.
It is just not the tool to replace my trusty wave on my side.

Day 30/30

Gotta admit that i didnt found any job for my Rebar today. Just cleaned my Rebar and decided to move it on storage.

My toughts on Rebar is that this is good but its lacking scissors and tools are bit akward to open with gloves. Its good tool if dont wanna carry heavy tool.

DAY 30

Today I used both of the Rebars blades for opening stuff.  Also used the awl for making two holes in drywall for anchors. No issues.
