I just bought this because I liked the look of the carbon fiber and the shield.  It appears to be a Bantam, but I cannot find it in my image searching.
If it's the box that goes with it, it's more of a modern box.  Any ideas?  :dunno:

I think the code is too fuzzy, the app doesn't recognize it.

I agree with Mechy - It must be  -  I have not seen it in the Vic catalogs - or anywhere for that matter

The blade is  post 2005 (V/SM/S) and of course exposed rivets went out in the early 60s - Also the handle material is modern (although the shield looks old!)

My thoughts exactly.
If the trees blew down the wind and no one was around, would the alphabet song really go backwards?

This one is certainly a mix-match of identity.  I wonder who the modder is?   From looking at the photos, it seems like a very nice job.  The ad even stated it as new.  :D

That's fab.  As others have said it seems like an excellent mash-up of styles and periods.

Thank you both!  Can't wait to see it in person, it is in route.  I'm interested to see how that shield sits in the scales.
It appears to have no liners, could that be?  :dunno:

Quite possibly. There's enough rigidity in carbon fibre for them not to be needed on a single layer knife, in my opinion.

I think the mail is going to be a day or two late...especially packages with the USPS on alert because of that idiot mailing the bomb packages. Which is understandable. Hang in there.

It’s not a mod, it’s one of the R&D prototypes when Vic was testing carbon fiber.  They decided to recoup some of their R&D money.  There....how’s that for a nice rumor.   🤪

Of course without liners it will fall apart right away, might as well get rid of it now.....need an address to move it to?  😈

Very nice..........

I don't mind waiting as I want the postal workers to be safe.
