I carry this knife with me daily and it is still as useful now as it was when I first put it together :woohoo:

Maybe moreso now since I have thenratchet driver from LM as well :ahhh :like:

My latest iteration of a Charge knife :woohoo:

I ordered the scales earlier last year and then I ended up finally getting some TTi pivots in a recent trade :woohoo:

I had it together but with the wrong pivots just to see how it would look :salute: I also had more tools on the end with the knife and file because I had a smaller pivot in, when I received the correct pivots I decided to just go with the configuration that has worked so well for me :salute:

Very happy with the way this one turned out :tu: :like: :like:

Thanks Steve  :hatsoff:

I have been planning on this mod for a while, the titanium scales even got lost on their way from Russia to here for a good bit (just from a random ebayer) and I had lost hope on getting them :ahhh finally when the guy was about to refund me after more than a few months :ahhh they showed up :woohoo: :mail: I was very happy and I am sure he was as well :salute: :tu:

Then a recent trade I made allowed me to receive the correct pivots for my mod and it became a reality 8)

Now, I need a snazzy new clip as the stainless one looks a bit regular compared to the BO one I use for my Al based one

Both sides of the new Ti version knife  The Removable clip is usually on the Titanium side :salute:

Thanks rcat and Pit :hatsoff:

The Charge Knife is my most favorite mod and I carry one of them daily :dd: it has allowed me to carry any plier based MT I want and still have all the utility that I ever need 8)

A minor tweak to satisfy my ocd, I filed down 2 points (indicated by the red arrows). This allows the long MUT bit to sit completely flush with the frame when closed.

Great job :tu: :like:

I just left mine as is in the Ti one because it helps me get the bit driver out better  I did put a notch in the AL version but it still only sits a little lower than the one of the Ti, so that was why I left it be

Good point  :like:. Thats the beauty of mods. Every user has different preferences, we mod our tools to satisfy our exact requirements.

I even had Tim Leatherman take a picture of it :ahhh

So they just apparently want something that would take sales away from other tools :dunno: :D

Nice vid and thanks for sharing  :salute:. Hope LM could develop this idea further. Would love to attach some implements to the plier head side as well to make use of the empty space. E.g. an awl would be nice. Good to hear your voice in the vid Ponch !

I can't wait to see if this is just a change of scales or a new Charge knife

By the way, you can never have enough Charge knives  :D

Sorry to disappoint but it is mostly a scale swap ::) :D

I did also replace the worn blade of my Al version

I got the replacement blade, a 154cm, from my Wave that I did a blade swap in years ago :salute: I gathered everything together :tu:

Only borrowing one side of the orange G10 Charge, I replaced one side with the 2 titanium scales that I have :salute: I didn't want to swap both knives to G10 but still wanted the Charge to be functional  :ahhh I decided to keep one side titanium and the other orange G10 :D

Now, I have a dual scale Charge which turned out kind of cool looking to me 8) :like:

Now I have 2 very nice knives to swap out between and still have the knife I want but in different scales :woohoo:
