Amen! Now where did I put my moonshine?
Surely the media has always made hero's of criminals - all the gangster movies from Godfather to Scarface, The Sopranos, Oceans 11,12,etc blah blah blah etc. And as above, so below, we are run by a bunch of self serving 'respectable' criminals anyway.

Does anyone know fo’ sure that crime has increased? In NY, it’s 10 times lower than in the late 80’s. once they fixed the lead pipes, etc, people became less violent.

Yeah, it seems that any uncommon occurrence can seem common, because thanks to media, you hear about it every time it happens. It’s a big world!Plane crashes are a good example. They seem common because they keep appearing in the news, but they keep appearing in the news because they’re uncommon. Over half a million people are in the air at any time!
I have the answer ...............loose the news media..........DOWN WITH JOURNALISM..............
Have you noticed though that TV often portrays criminals as smart (and cops not-so-smart), yet when you read about real criminals most of them are pretty stupid.
I spent 17 years working in criminal justice.............overall they just arn't the brighest bulbs in the pack.
