Serena's little corner…
on: November 28, 2018, 04:52:18 PM
Been hanging around here for a couple of years now. (Also been away a lot , but who's looking).
I think it's time to start a topic of my own where I can talk about the things I like, things I buy, things I think about, things I do, etc.

So, let's start with the things I bought in the last few weeks worth mentioning.

Of course the Victorinox White Christmas Edition 2017 I've ordered today.

I think this knife I has a 'girly' touch. Love the little flakes and stars.
(Nope, not saying guys can't carry this knife…)

The white will combine great with the white KeySmart I recently bought…

Two things that will be in my EDC very often. The keys of course every day and the knife will be switched out with my others SAKs.

And then another hobby…

When I was ordering some fragrance sticks in a local store today I stumbled upon a nice Lego offer.
So I ordered these two little guys to live in my city.

Yes, my city. I have a Lego room…

Speaking about hobbies. I also love geocaching and taking long walks/hikes…

Well, that's about it for now. Hope this will be a busy and fun thread!!!

Love the Lego collection! :like:

It seems to be very popular with adults in European countries close to Denmark. :D
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Only in European countries? I rwallu have no idea, bit I do know that Dutch fans spend a lot of money on Lego. Especially the big modular houses are very expensive…

Glad you decided to share a bit more with us.  I really like the lego city.  Keysmart, I want to try one and the one you've shown is really nice.

I ordered the white KeySmart two weeks ago. Just a few days after they also released a red and a slate one. They're really nice too.
Love that it doesn't jingle and that I can track it with my iPhone.

Hi Serena!
Just wanted to say that thanks for hanging around again adn popping up, your Avatar pic always brings a smile to my face, especially if I've had a bad day.  :)

Which is appropriate, because in my tongue (Spanish) the word "Serena" means "Peaceful, calm, quiet" and has a secondary connotation that means "that brings tranquility, joy, peace and/or happiness, or a feeling of well-being".  It is an adjective used to describe, for instance, a beach, a sunny evening after a rainy day, a slow paced classical music opera or the sleep of a baby.  :salute:

Very good and adequate name for you!!
My toys:

MTs: Surge (2x), Skeletool CX, Rebar, Blast, Fuse, Micra, Squirt (3x), Wave, Crunch, Mini, Spirit (2x), Pro Scout, MP700 (2x), Diesel, Powerlock, PowerPlier (2x), PocketPowerPlier, Blacktip , ST6 (2x), 5WR, A100

I watch my grandkids assemble their kits, with even looking at instructions.  I treat them like a 3-D puzzle.

I have a few kits here at home, and it is fun to see what the younger ones (10 and under) dream up.  The older 3, prefer full fledged expensive kits to display in their rooms, makes Christmas shopping a little easier for them.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Wow, thank you for the compliment.
My mom chose it as an Italian name, but it has the same meaning.
Big smile on this side now!
