When did Photobucket un-break the internet?
on: December 01, 2018, 04:41:48 AM
Haven't been around much recently, but how long ago did Photobucket come to their senses and start just watermarking the pic's rather than blocking 3rd party links?

Whenever, whyever and however it happened I am glad to see that all those thousands of threads are now functional again. I had many many posts, including tutorials that were completely trashed by their money grab, dick move, as did most people.

thank you for your attention, that is all...

I think it happened a few months back  I really wasn't paying attention as I had a work around that was showing the pics anyways

Great to see you PTR :tu:

Hey Peter  :salute:
Yep a few months ago they came back on so all the old threads were viewable again
Then they changed that by adding the 'watermark' (which really pisses me off after their blackmail attempt   :twak: )

Not even to mention all the work people started to repair those older, broken threads, only to find out later it was no longer needed.

they broke it, then un-broke it then re-broke and now this time they say they have unbroken it for good this time, not sure I'd trust them
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.
