the easy solution would be to cut the rectangle piece out of the slide lock scale and then insert it into a cutout of the outside dimension of the slidelock rectangle and you're good to go.
That's actually a pretty good idea. I was thinking of cutting a piece of metal, but why go through all the hassle. At least I can use it as a template.
I till have to place my order by the way. Decembers shopping is a bit taxing on my bank account and maybe I'll have to wait until January.
Yesterday I took a closer look at my Hercules (
) and figured that I don't really like the orange Dual Density on them.
Apart from that I did some research and made an overlay in Photoshop.
It's very likely that the hole has to be cut through the rubber material of the DD scale.
Which will result in durability issues I think.
111mm slide scales overlay on Dual Density scales.I think it's possible to mod a DD to a slide, but it'll come at a cost.
Looking at this seems very much possible to pull this off on printed scales, like the 111mm camo scales.
I'm not really sure what to do at the moment.
