Hi,

Anyone know if it's usual to have to wait a while to get a reply from them? I messaged them about a week and a half ago wanting to make a purchase. The website says 48 hours to reply. I sent another message last week but still nothing. Is this usual for them?

I don't think so. Alexei responded to me within a day. But that was at the end of 2017.

I had the same thing when I ordered last time from him some two years ago. Didn't have to wait.

A few days ago I had an initial response within about 12h, and a few follow-up emails the next day to change shipping address. All good.

Have you checked in your Junk email folder ?  Sometimes our robot servants get a bit too fussy about what they will allow in to your intray.

Maybe they aren't receiving your msg for some reason ?  At this stage it is worth trying a different method eg try facebook PM if you have been using emails, or vice versa.

I got a reply from email in about 3 hours! Woohoo! They must have something wrong with the website. I don't do other solutions like FB, etc so I hadn't thought of trying other avenues, thank you!

Oh well, not so good. Shipping out here is prohibitively expensive unless I pay Paypal F&F which isn't actually an option from here and against paypal rules in any case. I don't know anyone in Canada. I could order from SB USA to my dad in NY but I've heard bad things about the US side of operations.

Thank you! I decided to give them a miss, I managed to get in touch but they won't ship abroad here any more and there were a few other problems despite a very kind Canadian offering to help out with the shipping.
