that's because you haven't seen SOG's new Multitool

I hope it cuts better than my Crosscut.

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

To be honest, SHOT Show is usually a bit anticlimactic for me, but this year seems particularly so.
Absolutely nothing from Victorinox (Skipper Pro and red Hunter Pro came out late 2018, Year of the Pig and 2019 LE Alox aren't really anything new).
Limited news of MT's from anyone but Leatherman.
What happened to our own Kampfer?
Is it just me, or does anyone else feel the same?

A lot of the stuff is already announced/around but often you get the first good look at many things

CRKT's new deadbolt locking mechanism
CRKT's new kinematic folding/opening mechanism
While a toy, Artisans kinetic tool is interesting tech wise
Benchmade brought a double-bladed axis-lock knife.
Leatherman brought a whole new range of tools with new locking mechanism

That is not enough for you?
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

But when folded it's almost Micra-sized, and those handles are a plus. But who on Earth would use a metal toothpick for Smurf's sake!  :twak:

T-800 maybe?..

You have to bring the emotional support
"emotional"? Is this sort of a soft drink? Or does it have alcohol

I missed this. He probably meant Emotion-ol, an alcoholic beverage slightly sweet and sourish

Yes, Leatherman has the new tool line.  Not sure what I think of them yet.  The Sidekick looking tools make me a little skeptical that this is the future of MTs.
Not excited with the Benchmade, but I'm not a knife guy, I'm a SAK/MT guy.
I hadn't heard of the CRKT or Artisans yet.
Perhaps I've become a curmudgeon.

I would guess that it's the same toothpick as on my crosscut, it's plastic.
