As of today I've purchased 30 SAKs this month, just not one a day.

You have had a great month FB!

Your favorite SAK for the month is beautiful.....congratulations on finding it!  :like::tu: :tu:

The Swiss Air SAK is a great reminder that at one time pocket knives were allowed on planes.

The Swiss Card is cool too!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. :D

This one showed up on January 23rd and took a lot of the budget, but I had to buy it.  :tu:

As of today I've purchased 30 SAKs this month, just not one a day.

Lessons learned:

1) Don't try and make a purchase happen, it puts on stress that makes the joy of the hobby not as fun.
2) Some SAKs are going to rarely, if ever, show up for sale.
3) It's too hard on the budget.
4) One positive note is it made me try very hard to find worthy candidates.  I thought if I have to buy one it better be something I really want.
5) You all knew this before I even started, if I just would have listened.

Since I blew the challenge, I thought I'd wrap up with my thoughts.

My favorite purchase for February so far has been:

Excellent lessons learned.  :tu: I haven't learned yet.  :dunno:  Still in...and just hit the Buy-it-now button because I don't have much interest in the auctions closing today. Still in with less than a week to go.

Total count is up to 40 'qualified' purchases as of today. Doesn't include the Firefly stuff or bits, oil, scales, horn scales, nickel silver sheet, etc.
