Will a Super tool 300 Saw fit inside a Surge?
on: January 23, 2019, 11:33:29 AM
As the title says, is it possible to fit a ST300 saw inside a Surge?

If so, how well does it fit?

Yes I know the Surge has a saw/file exchanger on the outside OHO tools, but I think its too small for any real usage.

I am thinking it would be in the way of the pliers closing  Someone with more modding experience may come along and know better though

The great thing about the blade exchanger is you can use a longer saw when needed.  I wouldn't choose one too long but I've used about twice the size before.  I have a few blades that I keep separate since the tool wont close with them.  Its a good option to have IMO.

Oh don't get me wrong, I like the blade exchanger......It's handy and versatile  :)

I just wanted to have a larger saw "on tap" for when I need it, but I guess my SAK will have just have to remain in my EDC for stuff like that....No worries, I just wanted to check  :tu:
